Who we are

Apni Sakhi Foundation is a Section 8 nonprofit company registered in Jaipur, Rajasthan. This policy explains what personal information we collect through apnisakhifoundation.in, why we collect it and how we look after it.

What we collect

When you donate: your name, email address, mobile number, the amount and frequency of your gift, and your PAN if you ask for an 80G receipt.

When you volunteer, write to us or subscribe: the name, contact details and message you give us.

When you browse: anonymous usage data through Google Analytics, such as pages visited and device type.

How we use it

To process your donation, send receipts and 80G certificates, and report donations to the Income Tax Department as the law requires. To reply to your message or volunteer application. To send occasional updates about our work if you subscribed. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Payments

Online payments are handled by Razorpay. Your card, UPI or bank details go directly to Razorpay and are never stored on our systems.

Where it is stored

Form and donation records are stored in a secured database hosted by Supabase. Access is limited to authorised members of our team.

How long we keep it

Donation records, including PAN, are kept for as long as Indian tax and company law requires. Other records are kept only while they are useful for the purpose you gave them to us.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or unsubscribe from updates, at any time by contacting us. Some donation records must be kept for legal reasons even after a deletion request.
